Adaptive and Smart Learning Assistant concept during the 2025 10MS AI Hackathon Season 1
With so many resources available, students often struggle to find the best way to study. The ever-expanding library of lectures, notes, and quizzes creates its own maze: students can find themselves overwhelmed by content that lacks clear guidance and personalization. Without a smart content delivery system which is capable of matching materials to each learner’s pace and style, students risk either being unchallenged or overburdened. This problem not only drains students of enthusiasm but also places unsustainable demands on teachers, who try to bridge these gaps manually.
Ultimately, there is an urgent need for an intelligent, adaptive ecosystem that integrates real-time assessment and feedback, personalized gamification and smart content discovery. Such a solution would empower students by providing them the proper guidance that they need to achieve their goal.
Now, how do we empower students to solve or ease this problem by using the power of Artificial Intelligence? Recently, AI is everywhere. Big tech companies keep building LLMs and AI products and create hype around it. It is transforming how we work or study or create this very presentation. It is evolving so fast, that things keep getting obsolete every day. However, users do not know what they want, it is up to us how we use resources to create an experience in par with modern needs. They don’t care if you label it AI or not. It needs to work and make the experience better in at least one major way. We don’t want to build SLMs or LLMs, companies like OpenAI have already done that for us. We need to take this work and build on top of it to optimize to our needs, our users the students.
Such companies have already built the wheel for us, now we make a car. Something that doesn’t need to scream “AI”, it should be natural to use, seamlessly integrated and consistent in its delivery and doesn’t need to re-invent how users study, just a natural evolution. Just like how dump phones evolved into touch-screen smartphones. We don’t want to use AI to solve problems in education just for the sake of it. We want to think beyond the hype to create features, which are thoughtfully crafted and solve or at the very least eases a real-life problem in Bangladesh.
